Upon arrival, take a traditional horse-drawn carriage through the charming streets of Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus. Dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god, this magnificent temple is one of the best-preserved monuments in Egypt and provides remarkable insight into the religious traditions of the Ptolemaic Period.

Return to your Dahabiya and continue sailing toward Gebel El Silsila, the principal sandstone quarry of Ancient Egypt.
