Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival Cairo
Magic Egypt Tours manager will meet and assist you upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, then he will escort you to your hotel in Cairo by an air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At hotel the tour manager will assist you with a smooth check-in and review your private budget vacation itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for your tours. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2
Cairo
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Cairo then your tour guide will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, Giza Pyramids: The most substantial ancient structure in the world and the most mysterious. They were built over the span of three generations – by Khufu, his second reigning son Khafre, and his grandson Menkaure during the 4th dynasty (2575 to 2465 BC). The Great Pyramid of Khufu: The oldest and sole remnant of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Over 2 million blocks of stone were used to construct the pyramid, during a 20 year period. Then move to The Great Sphinx: A limestone statue with а lion's body and а human head. The face оf the Sphinx іs generally believed tо represent the face оf the Pharaoh Khafra. It іs the largest monolith statue іn the world. Finish your tour to Giza plateau by The Valley Temple: The only remaining mortuary temple at Giza plateau, made out of red granite and it was used for the embalming process. Then have your lunch at local restaurant before you move to the Egyptian Museum, where your guide will show you highlights of the unbelievable collection of artifacts from the old, middle, and new kingdoms. The museum house over 250,000 genuine artifacts, including the treasures of the most famous Egyptian pharaoh, Tutankhamen. The gold and jewelry on display was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s during excavations. Additional visit to the mummies room at the museum (extra ticket on spot). Then drive to Old part of Cairo where you visit the Citadel of Salah El Din in Cairo where you visit Mohamed Ali Mosque that has been considered one of the most beautful mosque in Cairo it also know as the Alabaster Mosque because its outer walls has been Covered by Alabaster Stone. End your day by a visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaar. The shops in this district are known for trading fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques and much more, you can taste the real life of the Egyptians and buy your souvenirs. In the evening, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3
Cairo/ fly to Luxor
Magic Egypt Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to be transferred to the airport for flight to Luxor where you will be met & assisted by your Egyptologist guide who will accompany you to visit the famous historical sites including : Valley of the Kings: The final resting place of Egypt's rulers from the 18th to 20th dynasty, it is home to tombs including the great Pharaoh Ramses II and boy Pharaoh Tutankhamen. The tombs were well stocked with all the material goods a ruler might need in the next world. Most of the decoration inside the tombs still well preserved. Hatshepsut Temple: It is one of the most beautiful & best preserved of all of the temples of Ancient Egypt. The temple was built on three levels with two wide ramps in a central position joining the levels together. Colossi of Memnon: Two massive stone statues of king Amenhotep III are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone which exist in Cairo then moved 700 KM to Luxor. Move on to the east bank in Luxor, where your lunch will be served at a local restaurant, then continue driving to visit the majestic Luxor temple which was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals and dedicated to the god Amun , then visit the Karnak Temples. It is the largest temple complex ever built by man. It represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak is actually three main temples situated on 247 acres of land .It dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. After this tour transfer you to the Hotel where you overnight in Luxor .
Day 4
Luxor/ Aswan
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Luxor before checking out, then your tour guide will accompany you to Aswan which is around 3 hours drive, upon your arrival at Aswan, where you will be transferred to the hotel for check in then afternoon start your day tour to visit the High Dam, which created the world's largest freshwater lake, Lake Nasser, once it was completed and the Unfinished Obelisk, which located in the ancient granite quarries, then on to the beautiful located Temple of Philae on Isis Island and the Granite Quarries, which is dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor. After these visits back to your hotel for overnight in Aswan.
Day 5
Abu Simbel Temples
Enjoy breakfast with free time at your hotel, then our tour guide will pick you up to start your trip to Abu Simbel Temples. It takes about 3 hours drive one way from Aswan to Abu Simbel by a private air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival at Abu Simbel, enjoy the impressive Temples of Ramses II at Abu Simbel, which is dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Harakhte, Amun-Re, and to Ramesses II. There are two of the most impressive Temples of Egypt, the great Temple of Ramses II and the small temple of his wife Nefertari. Both of temple are an example of the extraordinary skills of Egyptian architect. The temples built by Ramses II between 1274- 1244 BC, would now be under Lake Nasser if not for the wonders of modern engineering. Then enjoy your lunch during driving back to Aswan. Upon arrival back to Aswan transfer directly to Aswan airport to take your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo you will be transferred to your hotel, overnight in Cairo.
Day 6
Departure
Breakfast at the hotel then check out and transfer you to Cairo International Airport and assist you at the airport through final departure formalities. P.S. All itineraries are flexible so you can ask to add or remove any site you want.
